ohh jobs..

this long post doesn't serve any meaning to anyone except me. im just blabbering. so if u haf better things to do, i say don't read this post. aha! =P

aaah. penat penat. cari kerja bukan lah sesuatu yang mudah. hahahaha! yeaahh, this is what i had in mind. "i want to work in a coffee shop. and i don't want to work in ou sbb ramai org suka pergi sana.so no biggie, at least i know what i want to do". so what better place to go other than starbucks sumwhere kat curve riite? ohh i also applied dekat coffeebean, cupcakechic, baskin robins, and borders. just in case

hmmm, if u think skali apply dah boleh dapat cam memang salaah laa. or maybe ur just lucky. so yeah, i applied at all the starbucks in curve and ikano. pft. ada 3 je pun. haha! starbucks ikano called me back. he asked me to come back cause he wanted to meet me. so i went. lets call the dude who talked to me "the dude".

the dude : we're currently looking for a part-timer
me : yeah I'm more interested in doing part time actually.
the dude : we need someone for the weekends only. saturdays and sundays. so if u want to work extra hours this is not the right store for u

pfttt. memang tak la. itss soooo besides the point of me looking for a job if im only making myself busy for two days a week. some ppl told me to take the job and go find another part-time job sumwhere else. tapi fikir balik, gle xde life nnt. i mean i still do want a life you know. the other starbucks branches didn't call me back. soo starbucks was out of the question.

hmmm. i dapat baskin robins gak. the pay was crap. who the hell pays the worker RM3.50 an hour. thts like slavery man. hahaha! well they say the good side is that they pay every two weeks. as far as i'm concern, its doesn't make a difference and its still crappy.

at this point of time, im already desperate for a job. theres soo many things on my list that i need to buy. adoii. since starbucks was out of the question, i wanted to work at coffeebeans badly. the manager dah interview i sme. she said she needed sumone mid jan. after waiting for what felt like forever i decided to go back there to ask them if they really need sumone mid jan. and whether they're gona hire me if they need sumone then. i went there and the manager wasnt in yet. so they told me to come back in a few hours. ohh btw, coffeebean's pay RM4.50 per hour.

sementara nk menunggu coffeebean's manager to come in, i stumbled upon this coffee shop, gloria jean's. haha! mcm la kedai tu tiba2 muncul kan. so i was like, what the heck, apply je la, wont hurt me for trying and its still a coffee shop anyway. the manager was in, he gave me the forms. sebelum isi borang tu, i dgn suka hati nye tanya "rasa boleh dapat keje tak kalau isi borang ni?" to which he answered "insyaAllah bolehh". lepas isi borang tu, dia baca jap patu terus interview.

second question: what are the procedures of customer service?

i'm not gona tell u my answers cuz its just full of crap. my brain is trained to give whatever answers eventhough its crappy. ye lahh, dah brape tahun kene tulis karangan and buat pemahaman umum semua. haha! after all that was over and done with, the manager said he'll call me back. ohh, the pay is 5bux an hour. so thaaat, really got me thinking. coffeebean doesnt seem so...yeahh.u get my point rite? hmmm

theennnn, coffeebean called me back, nasib i belum balik. i went there, and they said now they really need workers. so i said i'll reconfirm with them in a few days, i'm currently waiting for another job offer.

during the few days of waiting for gloria's to call, i cudnt decide which to choose if i were to get both. gloria's offers a higher pay, but it wud be less busier la. coffeebean lower pay, but u'd be busy. ohh the conflict=P

so the conclusion of this long post, i chose gloria's. ppl dont usually go there, it would be less tiring, higher pay, and the manager seems funny. i start working tomorrow, tuesday,6th of jan. i'm gonna give my spot at coffeebean's to shah. hopefully shah would impress them (shah has been rejected to all the places he applied for a job.thought i'd help him since he doesnt really care about the pay.)
